HKK Dragons

The focus for Juniors is balance, co-ordination and fitness, in all to improve self-confidence.

Apart from karate techniques, the training includes games and exercises, to help them understand how the human body moves e.g. hand to eye coordination.

What one parent told us

I wanted my boys to be doing something physical that took them away from the TV.
I wanted them to be able to measure their physical and technical progress in whatever they did.
I wanted them to enjoy their fitness and build their confidence.

I enrolled them at HKK Dragons, and both my boys look forward to training twice a week.

As a result they both now enjoy swimming as well, with the older of the two achieving a Gold award, the younger one has also improved in his running, as his stamina has been built up due to his HKK training. The older of the two was once shy and easily bullied, but since training has now stood up to the class bully and dealt with a potentially difficult situation in an adult manner. Mentally they both have great confidence, the elder getting into the secondary school of his choice. (Latimer).

I can recommend Kyokushinkai Karate because in this troublesome world the split second advantage could make a difference between life and death. Also as a parent I hope that fitness will be a life long enjoyment for my boys so that they do not suffer from the problems of obesity that seem so common in childhood these days.
